Description
The Final Gift of the Season
As the mountain air turns sharp and the first frost touches the peaks, the tea bushes prepare for their winter slumber. The Autumn Ridge • First Batch is the final harvest of the year—a rare, slow-grown black tea that captures the cooling energy of the Himalayas. Because the leaves grow more slowly in the autumn chill, they develop a depth of flavor and a natural sweetness that spring and summer teas cannot replicate.
A Warm and Wooded Profile
Autumnal teas are prized by connoisseurs for their grounding, “cozy” character. This First Batch harvest offers a beautifully clear, copper-red liquor. The palate is sophisticated and rich, featuring notes of roasted walnuts, dried autumn leaves, and a distinct hint of caramelized brown sugar. It is a smooth, low-astringency tea that feels like a warm embrace on a cold mountain evening.
Traceability and Origin
Harvested in the quiet of the late season, these leaves are handled with extreme care to preserve the delicate essential oils that develop in the cold.

The Autumnal Ritual
To experience the full “woody” sweetness of the Autumn Ridge, we recommend a slightly higher temperature of 98°C. Steep for 4 minutes. This tea is particularly wonderful when paired with dark chocolate or nuts, as the roasted notes of the tea complement the richness of the food. It is a meditative cup, designed for slow sipping as the sun sets.
