Description
The Harmony of Bud and Leaf
While our Grand Reserve focuses solely on the delicate buds, the Silver Dawn • Select is a masterfully balanced harvest that includes both the silver bud and the first two tender leaves of the spring growth. This combination creates a white tea with more “soul” and a deeper flavor profile. It is the perfect choice for those who appreciate the purity of white tea but desire a more noticeable, structured palate.
A Sun-Dried and Velvety Profile
Because the Silver Dawn Select contains young leaves, the liquor is a deeper pale-gold compared to the Silver Needle. The flavor is a beautiful transition from the floral notes of spring into the sweetness of early summer. You will experience notes of fresh-cut mountain hay, wildflower honey, and a soft, nutty undertone. It is velvety on the tongue and carries a refreshing “dew-like” finish that cleanses the palate.
Traceability and Origin
This selection is harvested by hand in the same high-altitude gardens as our top-tier teas, ensuring that even our “Select” grade carries the prestige of the Himalayan peaks.

The Brewing Ritual
The Silver Dawn Select is slightly more robust than the Silver Needle. We recommend water at 80°C – 85°C. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes. This tea is wonderful for “Cold Brewing”—place the leaves in a glass carafe of cold spring water and leave in the fridge overnight for a sophisticated, champagne-like refreshment.
