Description
The Art of the Afternoon Steep
The Himalayan Gold • Special Selection is a vibrant, full-bodied black tea that captures the spirit of the Nepal highlands. While our Grand Reserve is a rare crown jewel, the Special Selection is crafted to be the perfect companion for a daily tea ritual. It is harvested from the same high-altitude ridges but selected for its balanced character and robust, uplifting profile.
The Character of the Ridges
The Special Selection is distinguished by its copper-toned leaves and fine golden tips. When brewed, it produces a bright, mahogany infusion that carries the distinct “muscatel” fragrance—a signature of authentic Himalayan tea. You will find notes of sun-dried plums, dark cocoa, and a crisp, clean finish that lingers beautifully. It is a tea that is both bold and sophisticated, lacking the astringency found in mass-market varieties.
Traceability and Origin
Every leaf is a testament to the hard work of small-scale Himalayan farmers who prioritize soil health and traditional craftsmanship over industrial speed.

The Perfect Cup
This tea is versatile and forgiving. For a classic experience, use 95°C water and steep for 3 to 4 minutes. It pairs exquisitely with a dash of milk if preferred, which brings out the creamy cocoa notes, but it is best appreciated black to experience the true mountain terroir.
