Description
The Zenith of the Emerald Harvest
The Emerald Mist • Imperial Peak is the rarest expression of green tea in our collection. While our Grand Reserve is a masterpiece of delicacy, the Imperial Peak is a masterwork of intensity and “High-Mountain” power. This tea is harvested from a single, secluded estate located at the very limit of where the tea plant can survive. At these extreme altitudes, the air is so thin and the nights so cold that the plant grows with agonizing slowness, packing every cell of the leaf with an extraordinary concentration of flavor, minerals, and L-theanine.
An Unrivaled “Umami” Experience
The Imperial Peak is designed for the serious connoisseur. The dry leaves are tightly rolled, resembling dark emerald needles that glisten with a natural silver sheen. Upon steeping, the liquor is a crystalline, pale-gold with a faint green glow. The palate is met with an explosive “Umami” depth—reminiscent of the finest Japanese Gyokuro but with a distinct Himalayan mineral backbone. You will find notes of fresh asparagus, steamed artichoke, and a rare “ocean-mist” salinity, finishing with a sweetness that lingers in the throat for minutes after the final sip.

The Imperial Ritual
A tea of this magnitude requires precision. We recommend using a small porcelain or glass vessel. Use soft spring water cooled to 70°C – 75°C. Steep for 90 seconds for the first infusion. This tea is remarkably concentrated; you will find that the leaves can be infused 5 to 7 times, with the “Sea-Breeze” notes giving way to a more floral, orchid-like sweetness in the later steepings. It is a tea for silence, reflection, and the highest level of hospitality.
