Description
The Definition of Mountain Vitality
The Emerald Mist • Grand Reserve is a masterpiece of high-altitude green tea production, representing the absolute peak of freshness. Unlike mass-market green teas that can often taste bitter or scorched, our Grand Reserve is crafted from the youngest, most tender “first-flush” leaves. These leaves are hand-picked in the early morning mist and immediately pan-fired or lightly steamed using artisanal methods. This process locks in the vibrant chlorophyll and living enzymes, preserving the tea’s brilliant emerald hue and life-giving antioxidants.
A Profile of Ethereal Freshness
This tea offers a sophisticated flavor profile that is both calming and deeply refreshing. Upon the first sip, you will experience a rich “Umami” depth—a hallmark of high-end green teas—followed by notes of sweet snap peas, white orchid, and a subtle hint of toasted pine nuts. The liquor is a pale, luminous jade, and the mouthfeel is remarkably buttery and smooth. It leaves a natural, honey-like sweetness on the palate that requires no additives, making it the perfect choice for the pure tea enthusiast.
Traceability and Origin
We source our Grand Reserve from shaded, high-elevation plots where the cool climate slows the growth of the leaves, allowing them to concentrate their natural sugars and nutrients.

The Brewing Ritual
To protect the delicate antioxidants and avoid bitterness, the water temperature is critical. We recommend cooling your water to 80°C (175°F). Steep the whole leaves for exactly 2 minutes. Watch as the emerald needles unfurl into their original leaf shape. This tea is incredibly generous and can be steeped up to 4 times, with each infusion revealing a new layer of the mountain landscape.
