Description
The Freshness of the Valley
As the spring frost melts and the mountain sun warms the soil, the tea leaves grow with a new, vibrant energy. Our Mist Valley • Origin is a celebration of this “Post-Spring” growth. While spring teas are delicate, this fresh harvest is deeper, more flavorful, and carries the lushness of the Himalayan summer. It is picked when the valley is filled with mist, which protects the leaves and develops a natural sweetness.
A Vibrant and Floral Profile
The Mist Valley Origin is known for its bright, “muscatel” character—a rare flavor profile similar to sun-ripened grapes. When steeped, the liquor is a brilliant reddish-gold. The palate is greeted with a bouquet of summer wildflowers, followed by notes of dried apricot and a clean, refreshing astringency. It is a lively tea that perfectly captures the feeling of standing in a high-altitude garden just after the rain.
Traceability and Origin
This tea is sourced from small family plots where the focus is on “Freshness First.” We transport these leaves quickly from the high ridges to the drying rooms to lock in the mountain aroma.

The Brewing Ritual
To respect the fresh, floral notes of this harvest, we recommend using water at 95°C. Steep for 3 minutes for a light, floral cup, or 5 minutes if you prefer a stronger, more tannic “European-style” tea. Because it is so fresh, the leaves will unfurl beautifully in the pot—we recommend using a glass teapot to watch the mountain leaves come back to life.
