The Emerald Mist • Heritage Blend is a celebration of the tea garden in its entirety. While our Reserve tiers focus on isolated buds, the Heritage Blend is a “Full Spectrum” tea, incorporating a curated mix of tender spring buds and larger, sun-ripened leaves. This traditional approach to blending creates a tea that is deeply honest and layered—capturing the diverse energy of the mountain slopes in a single cup. It is a rustic, artisanal green tea that stays true to the way tea has been enjoyed in the Himalayan foothills for centuries.
A Robust and Multi-Layered Profile
Because this blend utilizes the whole range of the tea plant, the flavor profile is exceptionally broad. The younger buds provide a soft, floral sweetness, while the more mature leaves add a grounding, earthy depth and a satisfying “bite.” When brewed, the liquor is a rich, golden-emerald with an aroma of wild hay and toasted grains. On the palate, you will find notes of steamed greens, forest minerals, and a hint of sweet umami. It is a hearty, “thick” green tea that provides a grounding and revitalizing experience.

The Brewing Ritual
The Heritage Blend is our most versatile green tea. It is remarkably resilient to temperature, making it perfect for those who enjoy a “carefree” brew. Use water at 85°C – 90°C and steep for 3 minutes. Due to the mix of leaf sizes, this tea evolves beautifully across multiple infusions—the first steep is light and floral, while the second and third steeps reveal the deep, earthy soul of the mature leaves. It is the perfect “all-day” tea for those who appreciate a rustic, authentic mountain brew.
